Peru: Declaration of protest against interference in internal affairs by supporting right-wing forces against the elected president

The miners of Peru and other progressive forces have informed us about the interference in the internal affairs of Peru by the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation. The miners and progressive forces protest against this political interference and complicity and demand expulsion from Peru. The Friedrich Naumann Foundation held an event in Peru with reactionary oppositional and right-wing forces to discuss a strategy of impeachment of Peru's democratically elected president Pedro Castillo.

Under the guise of democracy, massive interference in the internal affairs of the Peruvian people is being carried out here and anti-democratic and anti-working class circles/parties are being strengthened. By what right does the Friedrich Naumann Foundation bear the suffix "for freedom"? The International Miners' Coordination will not accept this way of not respecting but undermining the will of the people. We call on you to draw consequences from this scandalous event in Peru. The International Miners' Coordination supports the demand of the miners of Peru that the Friedrich Naumann Foundation be held accountable and leave Peru immediately. We have the vision of a "globally united miners' movement that fights for itself and its children so that the treasures of the soil, the water and the air belong to those who open them up through their work. They are to be used for a rich, dignified and healthy life for all people in harmony with nature - without exploitation and oppression." This is worth standing up for and against the support of yesterday's eternal anti-democrats! With kind regards Andreas Tadysiak Chief Coordinator of the International Coordination of Mineworkers
