Dear miners in Georgia, miners from Turkey send you their warmest greetings for your struggle. They write: ‘One of the topics we are discussing in our country is the unification of many large and small actions in many places. We continue to work with struggling trade unions to ensure the unity of workers’ actions.
We think it is very important not only to network these actions, which are rapidly increasing in our country and, in our opinion, will increase even more, but also to establish links with workers in other countries. This connection will also dispel nationalist tendencies among the workers. So far, we have not been able to do this, but from now on we must ensure that the messages and solidarity of workers in other countries are passed on to the workers in action and that our solidarity with workers in other countries is broader. We need to develop all forms of solidarity, actions, events, messages, support, everything. To do that, we need to intensify our communication. We salute the struggle of the miners in Georgia. We wish you and your families all the best.’
